Owens Corning and Bone Dry Roofing partnered on a residential roofing installation at a lakefront property along the Geist Reservoir in Fishers, Indiana. Both companies saw the same opportunity in the project: a real-world installation captured on camera would give each brand compelling content showing their products and craftsmanship in authentic action. Alpha Sky Media executed the entire two-day production as a single operator, keeping the crew footprint minimal and the roofing crew working without interruption throughout.
Roofing installation happens at height on a steep pitch, making it inaccessible to a ground-based camera operator and disruptive to approach with a traditional crew. Beyond the physical access challenge, this was a dual-client production requiring deliverables that served two distinct marketing purposes from a single shoot — without doubling the shoot time or slowing down an active job site.
Operating as a single-person crew was the key to the entire production. With only one operator moving around the site, the roofing team could work without interruption, producing footage of a natural, authentic installation rather than one staged or slowed down for a camera. Drone flight paths were mapped to capture the full installation from overhead, angled, and close-in perspectives across both production days.

The two-day shoot was structured to follow the installation from start to finish, with drone flights designed to reveal the work progressively as it progressed across the roof. Operating as a single-person crew allowed Alpha Sky Media to move freely around the property, reposition between drone launches, and adapt to how the work evolved without requiring any pause in the crew's activity. The result was footage that captured a genuine working installation rather than anything staged for the camera.
The dual-client two-day shoot produced complete and independent marketing content libraries for both Owens Corning and Bone Dry Roofing from a single lean production, delivered at no disruption cost to the active job site.
