Project Overview

Home & Willow Design and Decor operates a 5,000 sq. ft. showroom inside the Hub & Spoke design center in Fishers, Indiana, featuring custom home furnishings, seasonal styling, and curated consultation areas that make a serious impression on anyone who walks through the door. Following a major expansion of the space, they needed a way to give prospective clients that same experience online — without requiring a visit to discover whether Home & Willow was the right fit for their project.

  • FPV drone tour scripted as a single continuous fly-through of the full 5,000 sq. ft. showroom
  • Production completed in a single morning with minimal disruption to daily business
  • Content built to drive in-person visits, remote consultations, and client inquiries

The Challenge

Standard photography is effective at showcasing individual products and styled vignettes, but it can't communicate the experience of moving through a beautifully curated space. For a showroom business, that experience is the product. Home & Willow needed content that would replicate the sensation of walking through the space and give prospective clients enough of a feel for the environment that they would arrive at a consultation already confident and engaged.

  • Photography alone cannot capture the flow, scale, and atmosphere of a full showroom experience
  • The content needed to function as a virtual first visit rather than a simple product showcase
  • Production had to be completed without disrupting daily store traffic and customer interactions

Our Approach

Pre-production began with a full site visit to map the showroom layout and identify the key visual zones, featured displays, and seasonal highlights that needed to be included in the fly-through path. From that visit, we scripted a continuous one-shot route designed to flow naturally through the space and reveal its full character in a single uninterrupted sequence.

  • Pre-production site visit to map layout and identify key visual zones, seasonal displays, and featured collections
  • Scripted one-shot FPV fly-through route covering the full 5,000 sq. ft. in a single continuous sequence
  • Lighting evaluation to determine the optimal time for natural ambiance throughout the space
  • Full production completed in a single morning to minimize impact on customers and staff

Production Process

Using an indoor FPV drone with a 4K ultra-stabilized camera, Alpha Sky Media flew multiple passes through the showroom at varying speeds and angles, including slow detail passes over textures, materials, and display arrangements that give viewers a sense of the quality and curation behind every choice in the space. The final cut was assembled from the best elements of multiple passes and edited to feel like one seamless, continuous journey through the showroom.

  • Multiple FPV passes at varying speeds to capture both the sweep of the space and fine product detail
  • Slow detail passes over textures, materials, and featured arrangements throughout the showroom
  • Color grading for visual consistency and enhanced lighting quality across the full space
  • Custom music scoring aligned with the Home & Willow brand identity and logo animation at close
